Summer outfits for ladies and stylish moms for the year 2021!
Wow, I can not believe it is almost summer. This year has really been zooming by. I have not posted a blog post since January! (I am a little bit of a slacker. Lol.)
Anyways I have been spending more of my time on Tik Tok rather than my blog. I decided to compile a list of easy summer outfits for women. All of these looks have been featured on Tik Tok first.
So here we go, some summer outfits!

1. Stylish Summer Looks with Pants
I put these outfits into 3 categories (Pants, Shorts, and Dresses/skirts) to help you navigate through them. I mainly wear shorts during the summer, but let’s be honest, I do not always feel like shaving. So, pants it is!
It is also a nice variety to add some pants summer looks into your wardrobe. Especially sets, like the blue and white one below. I love summer sets because they are so easy to through on and perfect for vacations.
Then there are white jeans, these are a summer staple. They are easy to style and create a bright outfit. I think white jeans are essential to creating stylish mom outfits in the summer.
I have them styled two ways one with a blouse and studded sandals and another way with a tank top and platform sandals.
Here are two outfits with mom jeans, my favorite pair of jeans! I paired these jeans with a body suit and a pastel cropped top for these summer outfits.
2. Summer Outfit Ideas with Shorts
Then we have summer outfit ideas with shorts. As I said I am typically wearing shorts during the summer, This North Carolina heat can be killer.5 out of 6 of these outfits are styled with jean shorts. Jean shorts are kind of my go too. I recent bought two pairs of shorts from Forever 21 that I am loving.
All of the outfits will have the items I am wearing linked directly below the image. Or if the original item is unavailable, I will have a similar item linked. This is first outfit is jean shorts paired with a band tee and mules.
The second look are paper bag jean shorts with a knit tank top and a felt hat. I think a lot of times these hats are styled for fall, but I think they are perfect for the summer as well!
Even though it can be extremely hot during the summer, the weather sometimes decides to be cool. Especially in the mornings, that’s where this outfit would be perfect. Or if you are inside most the day in a cool building. A light ¾ sleeve sweater is perfect. You could also just roll up your sleeves on a loose sweater to create that ¾ sleeve look.
Then I have the paper bag shorts again with a white collared crop top and clear studded sandals.
This summer outfit is such a vacation look, I am wearing a white button down with a straw hat and platform sandals. I wish I had a looser button down. That would really make this outfit look nice and relaxed. But even with this top, I still love the look.
Then last in the shorts section, we have an outfit with biker shorts! This is probably the most casual look. I swear by biker shorts. They are so comfy and can be styled so many ways. Also making another appearance is a band tee. These can be styled so many ways as well. But here is one of my go to outfits for summer so around the house or running errands.
3. Easy Summer Looks with a Dress or Skirt
And last but certainly not least summer outfits 2021 with dresses and skirts. We all know the easiest way to get dressed in the summer is by throwing on a dress. So, I am only featuring one outfit with a dress, because let’s face it during the summer all outfits with a dress are the same because we are not gonna be layering.
For this outfit I am wearing a maxi dress. But you could wear any type of dress – A maxi, midi, or mini. Here I also put on a straw hat to add another element to my outfit. This outfit would look just as cute without one.
On a side note, this is a mommy and me matching dress. So, all my girls have this exact dress as well and I am obsessed!
I have a few different skirt outfits. I have been loving a good skirt lately. This first skirt, a tennis skirt, I have created 2 outfit with. One with a band tee and platform sandals, the other with a ruffled gingham top and wedge sandals.
Then we have a floral skirt that came from Walmart for under $10 paired with a white collared tank top and white thong sandal heels.
The last outfit I have to share for this summer outfit round up is a black skater skirt with a band tee and combat boots. This outfit does look a little more grunge but with a skirt it is still cute.
