I wanted to share these easy summertime mom outfits. It has been a while, but I have been meaning to get back to blogging for quite some time now. I started writing a post back in December that never got finished, but the plan is to finish that blog post and get it ready for when winter rolls around this year. Anyways I wanted to keep this post short and sweet just to get back into the swing of creating a blog post. Nothing too long or fancy. I have not been out and taking outfit photos lately, So I have no cute Instagram worthy photos at the moment. I did, however, start taking a few mirror photos of my outfits to hopefully spark some fashion creativity.

I also know we can all get a little in a fashion frump. I for one always just throw on a tee shirt and some shorts and call it a day without even giving thought to my outfit. If I am planning to take a photo in my outfit, I put more thought into it and want it to look cute. If I plan on taking a photo, I will actually plan out an outfit a little more. These outfits I put together are easy and perfect for summertime. These are also perfect mom outfits because they are great for taking the kids out. You can shop each outfit directly below the picture. I will link as many direct items as I can but if not, I will link similar items. Or you may already have a majority of these items in your closet.
Mom Fit One
White tee shirt, paper bag jean shorts, brown sandals, and straw purse. I feel these are pieces you already have in your closet – a white tee shirt, jean shorts, sandals, and a cute summer-y purse. I have on paper bag shorts, but any pair of jean shorts would work, I do think a light color jean would be best. I recently purchased this straw purse and I love it. I think a straw purse is so cute and perfect for the summertime. I can not link to the one I bought but I will link some similar ones for you!
Easy Summertime Outfit Two
Black tank top, Linen capris, White sandals, and a crossbody black purse. I recently bought this black tank top from Old Navy. It was on sale, and I could not resist, I also bought it in orange. I will link the exact tank top here for you. I bought these linen capris a while back, but I wear them at least once a week because while they are casual with heels and a blouse, they are perfect for work and so comfortable. If you have not given in to the linen trend this year, I highly suggest you do. I personally hope it is not just a trend and linen will stick around for a while. Even if the trend passes you will still see me wearing it. I also added white sandals instead of black to lighten up the fit a bit since it is summertime.
Easy Mom Fit Three
Coastal grandmother anyone? I have really enjoyed the coastal grandmother style of this summer and I plan to stick to this aesthetic every summer. I personally cannot do it all year because Fall is hands down my favorite and those dark fall colors really call to me. But changing aesthetics with the season is not too bad. Blue and white striped button down, linen beige shorts, white sandals, and brown sunglasses. I had my purse in the car already when I took this outfit photo, but I would go with either a straw purse or white purse. I have been wearing these shoes all summer they are madden girl but I honestly found them at like a TJ Maxx.
Summertime Outfit Four
Orange tank top, straw purse, tapered pants, and brown sandals. Here is that orange tank top I was talking about. Same as the black one above that I bought from Old Navy. I am not certain if these pants are linen or not, they feel a lot like linen and they sure do wrinkle. I got them from Target last year, I think… so I will link similar ones.
Outfit for Summertime Five
Linen trousers, olive green tank top, brown loafers, brown purse. Again, with the linen, I did not realize so many of these outfits involved linen. I did not plan that. I have had these linen trousers from H&M for quite some time and while I do wear them in the winter, I like wearing them in the summer because of how light and airy they are. They are wide leg which helps with the airiness of them. They are also great because I wear these to work a lot. I cannot remember if that is the exact reason, I bought them or if I purchased them for casual wear.
There are all 5 mom summertime outfits, I hope they give you a little bit of fashion inspiration. I know they have helped give me some inspiration. I also thought about another blog post that I can write before the summertime is over.
