I have purchased clothing items from shein twice now. So i wanted to share with you my latest shein haul and honest review. My first Purchase was smaller, it was like four items. This haul I spent about $130 (I wanted the free shipping. lol.) The haul will be all of the latest items I purchased. I will give a quick over view of those items then an over all honest review of shein. This will be the longest blog post I have ever written but if you are thinking about ordering from shein– you should definitely read this! This is not a sponsored blog post so my thought are not influenced in anyway. So lets get started:

2. What is the Quality?
The quality does vary. I say you should expect what you pay for. This is not a luxury brand, it is very affordable. The products are good to use a few times. I would not count on owning any of the items from shein as a wardrobe staple you wear year after year. All of my sleep sets are a thinner material as well (which I personally like for sleeping).

Some Items are great quality like the dalmatian print skirt. This skirt is a nice soft spandex material. w\While the striped dress I got is a thin scratchy fabric. The jewelry is very cheaply made. One pair of my earrings came in not even put together. The hoop was not attached to the hook. It was easy to fix but I think it is a good example how poor quality some of the items can be.

I personally put a sealant over my cheap jewelry to make it last longer. I received these items at the beginning of may and the necklace I wear the most, the coin pendent, started tarnishing here in the middle of July. This was after the sealant so I would say for a $2 necklace I was happy with that.
On a side note I have heard of some people who refinish their cheap jewelry with a 18k gold spray paint from Lowes. I want to try that and I will for sure write a blog post about it for you guys!
So over all I just want to say you get what you pay for, Do not expect amazing quality. But in my opinion the quality would not stop me from shopping here.
3. Sizing
Finding your correct size for a clothing item online can be so challenging. I usually wear either a small or medium depending on the item and how I want it to fit. I think most of the items on this website are true to size. I ordered most of my items in a small. I did read the reviews to get as much insight on how people are saying the items fit.
4. How long is Shipping?
With the two orders I placed they said the estimated arrival date was in two weeks. Which is fine with me. I would not shop on Shein and expect next day shipping. I know they are not located in the US. They do have expedited shipping but I have not tired it. I do the standard shipping because I HATE paying for shipping.. lol.
If you are just ordering one or two items the cost for shipping can be half of what you are buying. They are constantly running free shipping promotions. That is what I did last time. I knew I was ordering a bunch of stuff so I made sure I hit the $100 for free shipping. The first time I ordered it was free shipping over $60 (I believe).

As for when it arrives my first order I had placed sometime last year in 2019 only took a week to get in at most. I had four items and they arrived very quickly. Then my second order was much larger and it took about a week and a half. But both orders came in, in under the two week time frame they had estimated.
5. Customer Service
I personally did not have any issues either time I ordered from Shein. So I never had to try and reach out to customer service. I know someone who placed an order and her order got cancelled and she didn’t know why. So she was trying to reach out to customer service but they do not have a phone number.
I messaged them on Instagrm to see if they had a phone number. While unfortunately they do not, they did respond within a day to my message. They also have a section on your account on their website where you can send them a message directly on there and I believe they are pretty fast at getting back.
Some people might not like this form of customer service, so I would keep that in mind when ordering from there.

6. Should I Order from Shein?
Over all I say YES! I think taking all of these things in to consideration: quality, sizing, customer service, and shipping, Shein is an online brand that has cute, stylish, and affordable clothes. I am glad I found this website and I will continue to order things from there.
